Crag of the castle is a dolerite outcrop with a SW aspect. It is located within a National Nature Reserve (NNR) and is a site of special scientific interest (SSSI). Creagh Dhu Wall, a feature of crag of the castle, offers varied climbing with an exposed foot-traverse, followed by an exposed hand-traverse, to finish up a slabby wall with cracks.
